The closing date for the February 2012 certification period is 12 February. All results being submitted must have gone through internal verification, external authentication and results approval before this date. Centres should aim to be externally authenticating before the third week in January.

Thursday 1 December is ‘D’ Day for FETAC providers who are required to have Protection for Learners (PFL) arrangements in place. The revised arrangements to meet FETAC’s new requirements must be agreed with FETAC by 1 December. According to FETAC, all existing arrangements are null and void after today.
FETAC is currently inviting feedback on the following Level 5 and 6 programmes. They are currently up on the FETAC website for consultation. If you are involved in training in any of these areas it might be useful to have your say in how the programmes should look.
